Plan for check-in and release
Use the facility's requested arrival time when discussing the ride. Ask how to coordinate the return if the visit ends earlier or later than expected; a return pickup is subject to an agreed plan and availability.
Arrange any required escort
Ask the hospital about responsible-adult or escort requirements, especially after a procedure. Arrange that person separately. Transportation does not replace facility discharge requirements or medical supervision.
